FAQs

Do I need previous clinical experience to apply?
Not for short practicums or observerships — however clinical internships typically require prior coursework in counselling/psychology and some supervised hours depending on the placement level.
Can I do the internship remotely?
Yes — we offer blended placements. Remote interns participate in teletherapy under supervision, online workshops and virtual case seminars. Some modules (skills labs) may require in-person attendance when possible.
How many clients will I see?
Client numbers vary by placement; typical direct-contact hours are 6–12 hours per week with a caseload of 6–10 ongoing clients across the internship term.
Is supervision individual or group?
Both. Interns receive weekly individual supervision (minimum 2 hours) plus group case discussion to enhance peer learning.
