Refund & Rescheduling Policy
This policy explains how counselling appointments are confirmed, rescheduled, and handled in case of non-attendance. Please read it carefully before booking your session with Emocare.
Refund Policy for Counselling Appointments
1. Appointment Confirmation
All counselling appointments at Emocare are confirmed only after successful payment. Appointment slots are reserved based on payment confirmation.
2. Rescheduling Policy
If you are unable to attend your scheduled counselling session for any reason, you must inform us at least 6 hours in advance.
When prior intimation is given within the above time limit, your appointment will be rescheduled to another available date or time, subject to slot availability.
3. Refund Policy
- Payments made for counselling appointments are generally non-refundable.
- If proper prior intimation is given before 6 hours, the session will be rescheduled instead of refunded.
- If no prior intimation is given, the appointment will be treated as a missed session.
- In such cases, no refund will be made and the session cannot be claimed again.
4. No-Show Policy
Failure to attend the session without giving prior notice at least 6 hours before the appointment time will be considered a no-show. No refund and no rescheduling will be applicable in such cases.
5. Exceptional Situations
In rare and genuine emergency situations, Emocare may review the request at its sole discretion. However, any exception made will remain a special consideration and not a guaranteed refund entitlement.
