PFA and Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Assessment FAQ

What is included in the Day 1 assessment?

The Day 1 assessment contains 30 multiple-choice questions on Transactional Analysis life positions, the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, Psychological First Aid, suicide prevention gatekeepers, mirror neurons, oxygen and the brain, mindfulness and mindful breathing.

Will I receive answers and explanations?

Yes. After all 30 questions are answered and the quiz is submitted, the correct answer and a short learning explanation are displayed for every question.

Does completing Day 1 alone provide the e-certificate?

No. The Day 1 result card records this assessment only. Participants should complete the training requirements and all required daily assessments to qualify for the free e-certificate.

Does this training make someone a mental health professional?

No. PFA and gatekeeper training develops first-line support, recognition and referral skills. It does not replace a recognised professional qualification, clinical supervision, emergency services or licensed mental health care.
